Ordered delivery. Spent $150. No vinaigrette dressings for salads. Missing queso. Missing a chip and barely any rice or meat in the bowls. It was great last time. If I knew it would be like this I wouldn’t have ordered again. Literally so sad and haven’t eaten all day for this.

The food was delicious. Close enough for a taste of home 🇿🇦. I enjoyed everything I ordered. My favorite was the ugali, greens and the nyama choma. The food was fresh and tasty. Would definitely go back to try other foods. The service was slow; at first it seemed like they did not have enough staff. Then more staff started coming in. It took a while to get our drinks and food. Also parking in Newark is annoying. The restaurant is right across from NJPAC, which is convenient is you have a show/concert.

went to international brunch on saturday for my birthday with 10 of my friends and we had such a great time! the music was great and we did the prix fixe menu with mimosas included! our server Lia went above and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of. she was very attentive and got everyone’s order right even with our big group! she even brought me out funnel cake and ice cream with lights for my birthday which made it extra special! definitely coming back!

“I’ve enjoyed coming here, but I was disappointed that the same/similar small beers and hard ciders that cost me about $20 the previous week came to $34 this time. Drink prices aren’t listed, so the difference was unexpected. I’d appreciate clearer pricing so customers know what they’re paying before ordering.”

Great place to go and kick some back with friends. The atmosphere is great for shout-talking and mingling with other Prudential bound sport fans. The food, however, is terrible. The schnitzel was tough and flavorless and the spaetzle was greasy and uneventful. The only food item they didn’t mess up were the steamed vegetables. Go there if you want to chill with friends and be loud. Avoid if you're looking to eat.

I never leave a review unless a place is extremely bad or extremely good. Let me tell you, when I say this place is amazing, there isn’t an ounce of exaggeration. I took my parents here after their plane landed and we got there at 8pm. They were kind enough to open their doors and serve us even though the kitchen was already closed. They made us feel so welcome. It felt like we were family. I’ve never had oxtail before so I was a bit hesitant to order the burger but I finally caved after seeing all the reviews. Ladies and gents, I can proudly say this is the best burger I have ever tasted. I will be bringing all of my visitors to taste this food. I write this as a gladly walk myself over right now and get myself a burger. So grateful for the wonderful experience I had here!!!!

GF here. They have separate fryers for the fries. Chef came out the kitchen to let us know. They were delicious. GF buns and awesome burger selection. I was ultra happy with my experience. Try the ginger lemonade!

The service sucked, the service suck; did I mention how bad the service was? Some of these restaurants should stop adding automatic gratuity. The waiters are becoming lazy and inattentive to guests. Yesterday Oct 17th I ordered the Native rice. The ingredients were listed as fish, shrimp, and goat/egg; yet, the rice came with no goat at all. Neither the busboy nor the waiter saw any. The rice took 45 minutes to arrive. For $33, or $40 after tax and tip, I received a spinning bowl of rice that would not stop spinning. The food should have been correct. Putting beef skin in a dish that does not mention beef is already a no-no. The waiter never came to refill our water or ask if we wanted a drink. We were never able to order a drink because the waiter never came back, yet she was talking away at the bar. The forks she gave us was wrap in dirty sticky napkins. Mind you, we were the only guests in the entire restaurant. I could of walked right pass her as I stood behind her to pay my bill. She was so in her conversation she didn't even notice two people standing there. I had to get my refill of water at the door. Her attitude was not friendly. On a positive note, the decor was BEAUTIFUL. ATMOSPHERE/MUSIC was good especially since there was no dj at the time. The cook did fix the issue by giving a few pieces of goat. By then the rice was cold but the chef fixed the goat issue. The Busboy was nice he fix the issue with the forks and tried to help with the rice since we had no service from the waiter. I might try this location again to see if the service become better but I would not recommend or bring a guest.

One of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had! I honestly don’t understand how this restaurant is getting such high ratings and positive reviews from Local Guides. The food didn’t taste fresh at all, and it certainly didn’t seem freshly prepared today. It looked like they were simply reheating food from a rice cooker and serving it to customers. I asked for mildly spicy food, but instead, they added excessive chili powder and chilies, making it impossible to enjoy the meal. On top of that, the prices are high, the portion sizes are very small, and the overall quality is extremely disappointing. I was starving, yet I couldn’t even enjoy the food. The only positive thing is that I ended up wasting less food because they served such a small quantity. To make matters worse, when we asked the waitress to replace the dish, she simply said it was not possible. Instead of addressing our concern professionally, she was literally laughing while looking at us. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and made an already terrible experience even worse. Based on my experience, this restaurant is nowhere near worth the money. Poor food quality, questionable freshness, tiny portions, high prices, and extremely disappointing customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very disappointing!

Very Disappointing Experience – Never Visiting Again! The food was a 3/10, but the service was -1000/10. The girl who was serving us was busy on her phone the entire time, from when we arrived until we left. She showed absolutely no interest in attending to customers or providing even basic service. Our food was served without plates, and we had to ask her again just to get them. The complete lack of attention and hospitality was extremely disappointing. Good customer service is just as important as good food, and this place failed miserably on both. We shouldn’t have to ask for basic necessities while dining at a restaurant. Overall, a terrible experience, and I definitely won’t be visiting again. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
